Transfixed by serene, glassy waters
For the last two days, the Darwin200 team has sailed from Stranraer towards Rathlin Island, off the coast of Northern Ireland. We sheltered in Mull of Kintyre, near Campbeltown, Scotland whilst the bad weather passed.
As we set sail for Rathlin Island yesterday, we were met with serene, glassy waters and a brooding, rumbling, grey sky. Sometimes moody scenery can be more emotive and beautiful than classic sunshine and blue skies. We all were transfixed by the beauty of the scenery and mysteriously calm waters after the recent storms.
