Mentor a DARWIN LEADER during their placements aboard the DARWIN200 tall ship and help nurture the next generation’s conservation leaders!

As a DARWIN MENTOR, you will join the DARWIN200 tall ship in a port which Charles Darwin visited. Your task will be to help shape your DARWIIN LEADER’s research project and learning experience.

As a DARWIN MENTOR, you will join the DARWIN200 tall ship in a port which Charles Darwin visited. Your task will be to help shape your DARWIIN LEADER’s research project and learning experience.

When your assigned DARWIN LEADER arrive at the placement location, it will be your job to meet them and bring them to the DARWIN200 ship.

You will be responsible to accompany your assigned DARWIN LEADER, accompany the DARWIN LEADER, to act as their guardian (and if possible translator), to assist and guide their research activities and to ensure their safety.

The DARWIN200 project will subsidise costs for the participation of DARWIN MENTORS.

You will pay for your flights to / from your placement and a small contribution towards your participation (accommodation and subsistence). We will subsidise the rest.
